Alright, so both my little ones are sleeping soundly, or pretending to atleast. So I am excited I get to blog again. Please....please, hold the applause and the awws. I seriously doubt you will, everyday, have a treat such as this.....2 blogs from me in 1 day! But today, you do.
Well, lets get the crappy news out of the way to start with. When I was little, I had alot of health problems. I am a tinsy bit scared (ok, well scared mindless) that they have returned. I have to go see a specialist in order to get properly peeked at. Hopefully it is nothing. But since my biggest fear in life is leaving my children motherless, I am overly paranoid when something is wrong (as I am sure most mothers are). SO with that being said, and without having to go into yucky details, if you are the praying kind, please send a little prayer up for me that I get to stay healthy and watch my children grow!! and thankyou.
Now, on to the better stuff. I set my mom up with facebook. She was so cute replying to some of her old school buddies today. After alot of help from me and alot of typing to 2 of her friends, she was all tuckered out and said she will reply to others later. So if you didn't make the first cut, don't lose hope, you may receive a hello next time.
My husband cooked supper for us last night. It was his day off from the golf shop and on those days I always ask him to cook. he always acts so surprised when i ask him, even though everyday he is off, i do. men are so strange. my man especially. he always says the opposite of what he means. and you know, men are confusing enough as it is, so to add this twist to life.....well, let's just say after 5 years of marriage i may finally be getting used to it....but i don't like it. nope, not one bit.
but supper was delicious and he cleaned up too. when i cook, he cleans because, well a cook shouldn't have to clean up her own mess. but when he cooks, he cleans, because a cook on her day off shouldn't have to clean up another cook's mess.
Kamryn is trying out for the UIL spelling team today. we will know on thursday if she makes it. either way, life is good and she is slammin' smart.
well, lucas waved for the first time today. he waved bye to grandma. lucas "hearts" grandma. and grandma "hearts" lucas right back.
summer grace has been a busy bee today playing with all her farm animals. her antelope was a pig and all her cows were fairy cows, even the bull (yes, I said fairy, not dairy). they all had on skirts too. i couldn't see the skirts, but she insisted they were there. i believed her. what else was i to do?
peace, love, happiness

ReplyDeleteI am going to have to disagree with you...it is not the men who are confusing. Most often when we say something other than what we mean it's because that's the way you women HEARD it despite what we actually said. LOL
ReplyDelete"a cook shouldn't have to clean up her own mess".
ReplyDeleteCan someone kindly make that a rule in my household? Please? :P
dustin - trust me when i say my husband is confusing on purpose. i will concede and take men ingeneral out of it, but not my husband. :-) oh and start cleaning up crystal's mess after she so kindly cooks for you. lol
